John C. Parsons, II, CIC, CPIA, AAI, a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA), Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and agency Executive Vice President, joined the agency sales department in September of 1986 following graduation from Westhill High School, Onondaga Community College with an A.S. in Business Administration and SUNY College at Brockport with a B.S. majoring in  Business Administration.

John’s automation and information leadership have evolved into the firm’s fully automated and “paperless,” digitally filed information and processing systems. This development permits rapid access and response to data needed in the service of agency clients, agents and brokers.

John is a Director and Past-President of the Professional Insurance Agents Association of New York (PIA). He is currently the only 3rd-generation president of the organization having followed the example of his father Charles R Parsons and grandfather John C Parsons.

He is a past-Flotilla Commander of the former USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 215 based in Skaneateles, NY, serving the Finger Lakes. He currently is a member of Flotilla 21 based in Phoenix, NY.  He is a Certified Safe Boating Instructor by the NY Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation Department.

John is a team captain for the American Diabetes Association’s Fingerlakes Tour de Cure which works to raise awareness of diabetes, funds for camps for children with diabetes and research for a diabetes cure.

John is also a long-time blood donor, having donated over 15 gallons of blood over the years!

John’s wife Lynda also works at the agency in the Professional Liability department. They reside in Skaneateles NY with their two children.
